Welcome to ExerBent.com!
What is an ExerBent? As noted in the definition above from urbandictionary.com, an ExerBent is a recumbent (reclining) stationary exercise bicycle. The "Exer" is from "exercise", and "Bent" is an often-used nickname for "recumbent". Other correct spellings are "exerbent" (all lower case) and "exer'bent" (with a single quote mark).
What is ExerBent.com all about?
This site is for overweight or obese adults from age 18 to 80 who want to start exercising or for whom exercise and diet so far have not worked well. Also in particular if you have or are at risk for Type II Diabetes, this site may help you control your blood glucose level. The exercising and eating methods have worked well for me and may work for you too! This site will:
- Explain the benefits of an exerbent versus other types of exercise equipment
- Proffer exerbents as a method for helping control blood glucose levels in Type II Diabetes patients
- Further proffer exerbents as an awesome exercise tool for overweight and obese folks to help lose weight (it works!)
And eventually, we hope to make ExerBent.com a daily resource by adding:
- Tools and graphs to track your weight loss, glucose levels, etc.
- A bulletin board where you can post your own successes and read about others' success stories as well
